CAT Cut-off

The MBA admissions process at IIM Jammu begins with the shortlisting of candidates based on their CAT results, followed by a Personal Interview. The particular CAT percentile cutoffs for the 2024-26 cohort have yet to be publicly disclosed. However, for the 2021-23 batch, the general category requires a minimum total CAT percentile of 93, with at least 70 percentile in each area. Other categories have lower cutoffs, such as 74 for EWS, NC-OBC, and 54 for SC applicants. IIM Shillong's admissions procedure is highly competitive, with the total cutoff changing each year based on criteria such as candidate pool quality and seat availability. For the 2024-2026 batch, the institute has established minimum percentile standards for each category. General category candidates must achieve a minimum overall percentile of 75, with sectional cutoffs of 75 in VARC, 70 in DILR, and 70 in QA. NC-OBC candidates must meet an overall cutoff of 70, with sectional cutoffs of 60 in VARC, 60 in DILR, and 65 in QA. SC candidates must achieve an overall percentile of 60, with sectoral cutoffs of 50 in VARC, 50 in DILR, and 55 in QA.

Further, candidates who meet the overall cutoff need to participate and perform well in the PI round for admission. Considering the past few years' cutoff percentile, K J Somaiya Institute of Management has maintained an overall CAT percentile of 86, XAT percentile of 84 and CMAT percentile of 95 for its MBA course for the General All India category student. Therefore, Aspirants must look to score above 85 percentile in the CAT/XAT exam and above 95 percentile in the CMAT exam to high their chances for admission to K J Somaiya Institute of Management MBA course. Your past academic scores do not matter at all. To get into FMS Delhi, make sure you score well in your CAT exam get above 99 percentile and perform well in the extempore and PI rounds. 

Every year, FMS Delhi Counselling is conducted in online mode. Candidates who meet the composite scores are called for the PI round. The university then releases a list of candidates who are provisionally selected. Candidates whose names appear in the list must report to the FMS Delhi admissions office as per the given date and time. Going as per the past year's trends, FMS Delhi Counselling is expected to be conducted up to twelve rounds, tentatively.
