CAT Cut-off

The MBA admissions process at IIM Jammu begins with the shortlisting of candidates based on their CAT results, followed by a Personal Interview. The particular CAT percentile cutoffs for the 2024-26 cohort have yet to be publicly disclosed. However, for the 2021-23 batch, the general category requires a minimum total CAT percentile of 93, with at least 70 percentile in each area. Other categories have lower cutoffs, such as 74 for EWS, NC-OBC, and 54 for SC applicants. Please keep in mind that these data are for the 2021-23 batch and may not be accurate for the current admissions season. The CAT (Common Admission Test) cutoff for MBA admission at Lovely Professional University (LPU) varies each year based on several factors, including the number of applicants, the overall performance in the CAT exam, and the specific MBA specialisation chosen by candidates. While LPU does not have a fixed cutoff for CAT scores, it typically considers a competitive CAT score along with other criteria for admission.LPU Cutoff 2024 will be released for admission on the basis of candidates' performance in the relevant exam. LPU accepts LPUNEST/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT exam scores for admission to the MBA course.

1. General CAT Score Requirements: Generally, a CAT score in the range of 60-70 percentile can make you eligible for admission into LPU's MBA program. However, the actual cutoff might vary depending on the number of applicants and the specialization. For highly sought-after specializations, the cutoff may be slightly higher.

2. Other Admission Criteria: Apart from CAT scores, LPU also considers the candidate's academic background, interview performance, and work experience (if applicable) for final selection. Candidates who do not meet the CAT cutoff may still be eligible for admission through other avenues such as the LPUNEST (LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test), which is an alternative admission exam offered by the university.

3. Scholarships and Fee Waivers: Candidates with exceptional CAT scores (typically above 80 percentile) may be eligible for merit-based scholarships, which can significantly reduce tuition fees.

Your past academic scores do not matter at all. To get into FMS Delhi, make sure you score well in your CAT exam get above 99 percentile and perform well in the extempore and PI rounds. 

Every year, FMS Delhi Counselling is conducted in online mode. Candidates who meet the composite scores are called for the PI round. The university then releases a list of candidates who are provisionally selected. Candidates whose names appear in the list must report to the FMS Delhi admissions office as per the given date and time. Going as per the past year's trends, FMS Delhi Counselling is expected to be conducted up to twelve rounds, tentatively. Candidates are advised to check the FMS Delhi official website for the latest updates on cutoff scores, counseling process, selection criteria, etc.
