CAT sectional cutoff is the minimum percentile score required in each individual section (VARC, DILR, and QA) to qualify for an institute's selection process. All IIMs have a distinct admission policy, including the sectional cutoffs and overall cutoff scores.

GIBS Business School does not divulge any cut-off. Thus, GIBS does not base the admission of students solely upon the scores obtained in the entrance exam and pursues a holistic admission process that determines the overall profile of the student, such as academics, performance in an entrance exam, SOP, GD, and Interview.

Estimated PGDM Cut-off (General category):

  • CAT: Approximately 60 percentile
  • MAT: Approximately 60 percentile
  • CMAT: Approximately 60 percentile
  • XAT: Approximately 60 percentile
  • ATMA: Approximately 60 percentile

The final selection is based on:

  • Entrance examination score (CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT

No, you cannot get direct admission into Amity University, Noida for the MBA/PGDM course. Students have to either attempt the CAT or the NMAT exam for admission and then sit for the selection process (if qualified), which involves GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview).

For the CAT exam, General AI category students need a minimum percentile of at least 70

Yes, you can get admission to the MBA programme at Manipal University Jaipur, but not through direct admission without meeting the admission criteria.

For the regular MBA, you generally need:

A bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks.

A valid CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/GMAT score.

Selection is based on your academic record, entrance test score, personal interview, presentation, and English comprehension test.

Manipal University Jaipur +1

Also, note that Manipal University Jaipur offers MBA programs, not PGDM programs.

As a current student at DBS Global University,  I can say that yes, the university accepts a valid CAT score for MBA admissions. If you meet the eligibility criteria, then you can apply through your CAT score, and you do not have to take the universities entrance exam. The best thing about DBS, is that MBA is not limited to the classrooms.  Internships, live projects, corporate interactions, experienced faculty, and a dedicated placement cell focus and help students to get industry-ready. If you are good at grabbing your opportunities, then DBS provides a strong platform to help you build a strong career.

DBS Global University follows a student-friendly MBA admission process with a reasonable cutoff. Generally, candidates with 60 percentile in CAT, MAT, or XAT, or 75 percentile in CMAT are eligible to apply. Along with entrance scores, the university also considers your academic profile and interview performance, ensuring a fair and holistic selection process.
