As per the official website of MIT WPU Pune, the entrance exam is compulsory for admission to the MBA course. The university accepts multiple national-level entrance exams such as MAT, XAT, CMAT, MAH CET, etc., for admission to the MBA course. CAT is among the different entrance exams that are required for admission. Therefore CAT exam is not compulsory for MBA admission at MIT WPU, since the university accepts other enytrance exam as well. However, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any field which is compulsory for MBA admission.

No, CAT is not compulory for admission to MBA programme at AAM Business School. As the college accepts scores of other entrance exams, including XAT and TANCET.

Moreover, candidates can also appear for admission without entrance exam scores and based on scores obtained in the last academic merit of undegraduation.

The average placements after completing an MBA through ICET (state-level colleges) usually range from INR 3–6 LPA, and regional companies along with small-scale ones participate. On the other hand, the MBA programme conducted by CAT (IIMs and top colleges) usually gives high placements with packages ranging at an average of INR 15–30 LPA, while global recruiters are ready with diversified roles. All the difference is between college names and the quality of recruiters.
