No, CAT is not compulory for admission to MBA programme at AAM Business School. As the college accepts scores of other entrance exams, including XAT and TANCET.

Moreover, candidates can also appear for admission without entrance exam scores and based on scores obtained in the last academic merit of undegraduation.

The average placements after completing an MBA through ICET (state-level colleges) usually range from INR 3–6 LPA, and regional companies along with small-scale ones participate. On the other hand, the MBA programme conducted by CAT (IIMs and top colleges) usually gives high placements with packages ranging at an average of INR 15–30 LPA, while global recruiters are ready with diversified roles. All the difference is between college names and the quality of recruiters.

There is no minimum CAT cutoff for IMI, New Delhi. They are looking for a holistic profile of the student which consists of your academics, extra curricular and the admission process assessment. Yes, you can consider getting a Masters degree even if you have more than 3 years of work experience. You can also consider the 18 months PGDM program at IMI.

CAT is also accepted as an entrance test through which one may enter into PGDM at Lucknow by Jaipuria Institute of Management, but CAT entrance test scores are not a prerequisite to apply for it. It has also accepted entrance tests conducted at CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT examinations scores of which can also be accepted for admission by candidates not qualified through CAT.

The CAT cutoff for entry into PGDM at SIES College of Management Studies, SIESCOMS stands at 50 percentile for all categories. This will go for their general PGDM Biotechnology, and PGDM Pharma Management programs. This is just the minimum cutoff; it just becomes enough for one to be eligible to get into the course. This all depends on other factors like the candidate's complete profile, academic record, work experience, and performance in subsequent admission rounds such as group discussions and personal interviews.
