Yes, you can get into AGBS Chennai without CAT. The school also accepts other National exams as well (XAT, MAT, GMAT) for admission to its offered programme. Admissions are done on the basis of performance in qualifying exam, English essay, and interview. For PG programme, direct admissions are also provided which are merit-based.

Regardless of the time slot in which they took the test, all candidates usually receive their CAT (Common Admission Test) results on the same day. On a designated date, the conducting authority makes the results available, and all candidates can view them simultaneously. As a result, if you took the CAT exam during the second slot, your results should be released on the same day as those of the first slot. Following the results announcement, Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) will make available the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 cutoff. By the second week of January 2024, the outcome will be known.Prior to that, the qualifying CAT cutoffs—the minimal score requirements for admission to MBA programs—were announced by the IIMs. The CAT cutoff is different for every IIM. Shortlisted candidates for the admissions process will be those who meet the CAT 2023 cutoff. Candidates must meet the requirements set out by each IIM in order to be selected for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

  • (i)  Through Merit of qualifying class, except M.Phil  courses
    (ii) in M.Phil courses through entrance examination 
  • number of seats in total - 60+80+30+78 = 248
  • eligibilty is - minimum 50% in graduate level degree.
  • courses offered vary like we have finance, hr, marketing, hrd, IR&PM.
  • also the fees is less than 20000 for most domains.

The CAT entrance exam can be challenging, but with right strategies and proper preparation, even an average student can perform well in this exam.Candidates must focus on the topics covered by NCERT up to 10th standard level, as after this they can solve most CAT Exam questions. The exam is meant to test the average student. Student don't have to be an expert in Math to crack it. All it takes is the willingness to start from the basics and work hard.The student must prepare for the exam according to the CAT syllabus and should solve some previous year question papers to check their preparation.

Yes, Asia-Pacific Institute of Management (AIM) accepts CAT (Common Admission Test) scores for admission to its MBA programs. Apart from CAT, AIM also considers other management entrance exam scores like MAT (Management Aptitude Test) and CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) for admission purposes. Candidates can apply to AIM using their CAT scores, among other specified entrance exam scores, for consideration in the admission process to their MBA programs.

The cut-off is 50 percentile. However, IBI conduct a day-long Personality Profiling Exercise including Group Discussion and Personal Interview for levelling various factors of selection standard. Based on performance in all these tests, Academic achievements and Work Experience, cut-off for IBI admission is determined.
