Yes, six months are enough to prepare for CAT exam, if you can dedicate 8-10 hours to it daily. In the first three months complete the syllabus. In the last three months practice mock tests and do revision.

Students may get admission in IIM Kozhikode with 95 percentile in CAT. But this is not enough to get a seat. The admission chances also depend on student's overall profile. This includes academic scores + performance in the selection rounds. Students can check the cutoff trends to know better.

CAT application fee is INR 2600 for General candidates and INR 1300 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. The fee amount is to be paid online at the time of application form submission.

Scribe facility is available for PwD candidates in the CAT exam. They are given 13 minutes extra per section to complete the test.

CAT exam centre address and location is mentioned on the admit card. The test centre is allotted in the city of first preference as mentioned in the CAT application form.

While both share core subjects like English, Reasoning, and Quantitative Analysis, the PGCET syllabus additionally includes General Knowledge and Computer Awareness, and features an easier difficulty standard.
