No, CAT is not specifically mandatory for Altera Institute PGP course admissions, instead, candidates need to appear for any national level entrance exam for MBA admissions. However, if you don't have a competitive exam score such as (CAT, NMAT, GMAT, XAT), you will be required to take Altera's own aptitude test, the ALNAT. There is no additional fee for taking ALNAT; it is part of the application process.

Candidates who did not appear for the CAT entrance exam can apply St. Xavier's College, Kolkata admissions as it is not a mandatory entrance exam. The candidates who wish to gain admissions into the MBA course of the institute have to appear for the Kolkata University entrance test for St. Xavier's College, Kolkata MBA course admissions.

New Delhi Institute of Management does consider the scores of CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT or ATMA. The selection measures for the New Delhi Institute of Management are not only the entrance scores but also different elements, like GD, PI, academic achievement and so on.

Gautam Buddha Universty has shown a strongly consistent CAT cutoff trend for MBA. Though the cutoff still remains cutoff at 25 across the years of 2021-23. One can view the same overall MBA cut-off trend for General category in tabular format below:

The major events that candidates must lookout for when applying for MBA admissions at ASB Trivandrum are the admission deadline, registration deadline, exam dates, counseling rounds dates and result decleration dates.

Each year, the dates for the aforementioned key events will change. Candidates are required to visit the official website of ASB Trivandrum to learn the admission deadline and visit the official portal for the aforementioned exams to learn the dates for the rest of the events.

Yes, candidates are required to appear for the CAT or CMAT entrance exam for MBA in International Business admissions at Jammu University. In addition to the aforementioned entrance exam, candidates are also required to fulfill the set eligibility criteria for the MBA in International Business. Candidatesare required to only appear for one of the aforementioned exam to be eligible for admissions.

The CAT cutoff for the year 2024 at Kurukshetra University is expected to remain at a similar level to the previous year's cutoff. The current CAT cutoff trend at Kurukshetra University shows no change in the competition for the MBA course. The cutoff is expected to range between 25 - 70 in 2024.

That's a wonderful goal to push your son toward right at the start. To obtain previous CAT model papers, you can check many available popular exam preparation books in any bookstore or online store. Coaching interest usually have mock tests and sample papers for students. Educational YouTube channels  offer thought forums regarding past patterns. Almost all the sites discussed before offer free PDFs with question paper solutions to look over the previous years' papers. Yes, you can get admission to Jaypee Business School (JBS), Noida for MBA even if you don't have CAT. JBS accepts scores from several other exams such as MAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, ATMA, and also CUET-PG. Just make sure you have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks, then apply with any of those valid scores. After that, you'll go through GD & PI rounds for final selection.
