No, CAT is not specifically mandatory for Altera Institute PGP course admissions, instead, candidates need to appear for any national level entrance exam for MBA admissions. However, if you don't have a competitive exam score such as (CAT, NMAT, GMAT, XAT), you will be required to take Altera's own aptitude test, the ALNAT.
