CAT fee is non-refundable. Candidates must note that under no circumstances will the CAT fee be refunded to any candidate. The fee amount of INR 2600 (INR 1300 for Reserved category students) once paid cannot be claimed for refund.

The CAT exam is always conducted on the last Sunday of November every year so the CAT 2024 exam will be conducted on November 24, 2024. Official announcement of the CAT 2024 exam date will be made by the convening IIM on July 30, 2024. The announcement will be made at the iimcat.ac.in website as well as in all the national dailies across India. We at Shiksha have also notify the aspirants through our communication channels. Registrations cum application process for CAT 2024 will begin from the first week of August and end in the third week of September 2024.

Yes, you can apply for an Master of Business Administration at Ajeenkya DY Patil University without a Cpmmon Admission Test score. However, admission to the Master of Business Administration program is based on other entrance exams such as Xavier Aptitude Test, Management AptitudeTest , AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA), CMAT, or GMAT. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.

The expected CMAT cutoff was 95 percentile in the year 2022. Candidates must score equal to or more than in CMAT 2022 cutoff to secure admission in MET Mumbai for the academic year 2022-2024.

For admission to SJMSOM for the flagship MBA course, the result of CAT 2023 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 (If the CAT conducting body follows the trend as in 2022). However, if the trend is not followed, the same will most probably be out by the first week of January 2024. After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for SJMSOM admission.

For admission to the MBA at SJMSOM, the CAT test was conducted on November 30, 2025. Aspirants of SJMSOM are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam 2025 is generally held in three slots:
- Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
- Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
- Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Yes, CAT 2023 dates for admission to SJMSOM are out. To apply for the CAT exam, candidates are required to create an account, fill the CAT registration form and pay the exam application fee. The 2023 CAT form have to be submitted by a certain deadline after which no application will be accepted. For 2023 CAT exam, CAT registration will go on between Aug 2 and Sep 20. The exam will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Students are required to appear for the CAT 2023 exam in Computer Based Testing mode at allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 for SJMSOM admission will be held in three slots. These are as follows:

CAT is not a necessary requirement for Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM) Pune. For admissions at PIBM, it is a must that candidates have undergone an education programme under a three-year or four-year graduation system with at least 50% or above aggregate marks in Class 10, 12 and Graduation courses. Besides this, candidates’ performance in aptitude tests such as CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT is evaluated. If a candidate has scored average marks in one of the above, they have to sit for the PMAT which is PIBM’s aptitude test. While candidates belonging to Science and Engineering background do have an edge over Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), it is not impossible for students from non-Science background to crack this section of an MBA entrance exam.
