No, the institute does not consider sectional cutoffs for admission.

The final CAT cutoff for IIM Shillong admission ranges between 90 to 93 percentile.

The IIM Shillong qualifying CAT 2022 cut off was 90 percentile with a sectional cutoff of 75 percentile. Candidate who secure the required CAT percentile are invited for further rounds of selection, the WAT and GP-PI round. In 2023 admission process of all IIMs, WAT was not conducted.  

For final admission, the college assess the performance of the candidate in CAT & GD-PI round, and the profile of the candidate.

For MBA admission, candidates who have applied are further shortlisted based on the composite score (calculated using CAT score, past academic performance, experience, gender and diversity) for a Virtual Interview. For other courses, however, students are either selected on the basis of their academic background, personal interview, SOP of institute conducted entrance exam. 

The latest CAT cutoff 2024 for XIM University results are announced. Based on XIM University cutoff 2024, the CAT cutoff percentile stood Candidates seeking XIM University admission 2024, must have a CAT score of 91 percentile as a mandate for final selection. Praxis Business School accepts score of several other national level entrance exams for admission to the MBA/ PGDM programme apart from CAT such as XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ GMAT. Also, candidates need to fill out the online application form by paying the required application fee. Candidates need to have a valid score in any of these entrance exams CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ GMAT based on which they will be shortlisted for the essay writing test and Personal Interview (PI) round.
