For CAT, graduation from a recognized university is required.
It matters a lot about your 10th & 12th during IIM shortlisting but to appear for CAT one needs to have just graduated from a recognised university.

It is not an issue. You must have done 12th from a recognised board and graduation from a recognised university.
CAT does not have any upper or lower age limit. However, the eligibility criteria for CAT states that the candidate should have completed their undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% for the General and NC-OBC categories (45% for reserved categories).

The ICFAI University, Dehradun does not typically accept CAT (Common Admission Test) scores for admission to its programs. CAT scores are primarily used for admissions to various management programs offered by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and some other participating institutes.
For admission to The ICFAI University, Dehradun, the university generally conducts its own entrance examinations or may consider other national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main for certain programs like B.Tech. The specific entrance exams and their respective cutoff scores or percentile may vary depending on the programme you are interested in

Yes, CAT books can help while preparing for the TANCET MBA exam. CAT is a national level MBA exam, whereas TANCET is a state level MBA exam. Several topics in both exams are common. Therefore, CAT books can be a good resource for preparing for the TANCET exam.
