The worthiness of CAT percentile depends on the MBA college you want to take admission into. For a Tier 1 B-School, 95 + percentile is a good, whereas for a Tier 2 institute, 80-90 percentile is a good benchmark. Admission cut offs of the Iims are always 95 percentile and above.

Yes, you can but B.Com should be your priority and apply for CAT as well. Basically, there are 3 sections in CAT exam - verbal ability, DILR Quants. Verbal ability- Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power.

If you are not appearing for the CAT exam, there are still a few options available for pursuing an MBA or PGDM programme from an IIM:
Other Entrance Exams: Some Iims accept scores from other management entrance exams such as XAT MAT GMAT or CMAT. You can appear for these exams and apply for admission
