Number of subjects failed: You are eligible for the compartment exam only if you fail in one or two subjects. Failing in three or more subjects means you need to reappear for the entire board exam next year. If a student takes compartment test in 12th, can he take admission in any college in the same year? Yes.

' Failure and Reappearance: Students who fail or do not appear for the Compartment exam will be considered 'FAIL' and must reappear according to the prescribed courses and syllabus.

A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced two times in two consecutive years. The candidates who will be appearing for JEE Advanced 2025 for the first time, can also appear for JEE Advanced 2026. Similary, candidates who have attempted JEE Advanced in 2024 for the first time can attempt JEE Advanced 2025.

Is 75% criteria removed from JEE Advanced 2025?  The 75% criteria has not been removed from JEE Advanced 2025. Candidates may not be required to obtain 75% marks to appear for JEE Advanced. However, they do require 75% marks in class 12th at the time of admission to IIT JEE participating institutes.

With a rank of 6019 in IPU CET and 52% in Class 12, it is going to be tough getting admission in the BCA programme in JIMS (Jagannath International Management School), as the cut-off ranks are usually above the marks secured by most students according to demand and competition.

With 59% in JEE and 48.17% in your 12th board examination getting admission to a top engineering college is a challenging. However you can still explore options in private engineering colleges which may have lower cutoffs than government colleges. Some institutions except student with moderate JEE course and 12th marks specially in less competitive branches. It is also worth checking if you can participate in management quota direct admission options at various private colleges.

Thank you I hope this helps.

Your college admissions or scholarship eligibility may be impacted, based on the institution's requirements, if you receive a lower score on your second attempt at the 12th board tests. Numerous colleges and institutions recognize the best score from the two attempts. A much lower score, however, can make it more difficult for you to enroll in competitive courses or decrease your chances of being accepted into esteemed universities. Checking the policies of particular institutions regarding reattempts is advised.
