According to the subjects, 2 to 3 hours are given for the exam. 15 minutes of cool off time is given for all the subjects. Students can read the questions carefully during this time.

CBSE 12th previous year question papers can get you familiar with the kind of questions that get repeated in the exam, the difficulty level, the marking scheme and more. It will help you form your answering strategy but you cannot solely rely on it. You should study the syllabus and learn concepts to ace the exam.

Chances are less for out of syllabus questions in CBSE 12th board exam question papers. CBSE Class 12 board exams 2025 will be based on CBSE 12th syllabus 2025 entirely. If any questions are out of syllabus, students will be awarded the marks for it.
You are advised to go through the CBSE 12th syllabus 2025 and study all the topics mentioned there.

Not exactly the same, but, CBSE can ask questions similar to what were asked in the previous years of CBSE 12th exams. Thus, you are advised to download and practice the previous years' question papers thoroughly for better preparation.

It is actually different for everyone since everyone has their own speed. It also depends on the paper- if its lengthy or not. There is a Cool-off time of 15 minutes in addition to the writing time. Use the 'Cool-off time' to get familiar with questions and to plan your answers. Read questions carefully before answering. Read the instructions carefully and you can analyze your entire question paper no matter which subject is it, and mentally set time for each sections. Since there are mcqs too, you can solve them in the 15 mins cool off time and thus save you a lot of time.
