No, it is not possible to take a direct admission in the 12th standard without studying the 11th class. Because registration for the 12th board exams takes place in Class 11 and you will not be eligible to sit in the boards if you miss that. However, you are eligible for direct admission to Class 12 in the NIOS board without doing Class 11.

It depends on which course you are going to take admission.
For BBA and BCom programs you need a valid LSAT score .
For B.Tech you will need to submit your class 11th and 12th grade marksheet along with the proof of age and nationality and also the entrance exam results.
For law programme there is no entrance exam but you will need to meet the eligibility criteria for the programme you are applying for. Atleast 45% marks in class 12th.

If you take the CBSE Class 12 improvement exam in 2024 and get lower marks than your original ones, the higher marks will be used. This means your original marks will be counted if they are better than the marks you get in the improvement exam.
This rule makes sure that taking the improvement exam doesn't hurt your overall score. So, you can try the improvement exam without worrying about getting lower marks than before.
