Every candidate who is willing to apply for CDS must have completed their Graduation or at least is appearing for the final exam of the degree. The detailed eligibility criteria for female is given below. Age for Officers Training Academy SSC Women Non-Technical Course) : 19- 25 Years
Marital status : Unmarried female
Educational qualification : For I. M.A. And OTA, candidates should have a degree of a university or equivalent degree from institutions that have been recognised by Central/State Government. Note :
1. Candidates who are in their final year/ semester Degree course and have not completed the course yet can apply for CDS Exam.

Hello Ravi, whatever you study is never wasted. It's always useful. For CDS a student must have passed graduation or should be appearing for graduation examination. When you will go to final year of engineering then you can apply for CDS examination. Best wishes to you.
