The CEED 2024 qualifying cut-off for Part A will be calculated using a formula that considers the average marks and standard deviation of all the candidates who appeared in the exam.

  • Formula: µ + (σ²) = δ
    • µ (mu) represents the average marks obtained by all candidates in Part A.
    • σ (sigma) represents the standard deviation of the marks obtained by all candidates in Part A.
    • δ (delta) represents the qualifying cut-off mark for Part A.
  • Rounding: Both µ and σ will be rounded off to the first decimal place after the calculation.

The scorecard for CEED 2025 is meant only for admission to the M.Des program offered by participating and result-sharing institutes. It cannot be used as a proof of birth. Further, the scorecard will also not be a legal document that can be used as a category or disability certificate.

Also, note that the scorecard of CEED 2025 will be valid only for a period of one year. So, if the candidate doesn’t take admission within that one-year period, the CEED 2025 scorecard will no longer be valid for admission purposes.
