Students are required to possess a decent English language proficiency level in order to get enrolled in the programme of their choice. This is so because every course is taught in English in the college and it is expected that students hold a high level of English language proficiency. As such, all students at Centennial College must present an acceptable level of English language proficiency to be admitted to their programme of choice. In order to meet the language proficiency requirement, applicants can demonstrate English proficiency through recognised English language proficiency tests like IELTS, TOEFL, etc.

Students are permitted to work off-campus for a maximum of 20 hours per week if they are registered as full-time students in an eligible course and have obtained a valid study permit, stating they ‘may work’ or ‘may accept employment’ on or off campus.
