As per college, living on the campus is an important part of the educational experience at Central. On-campus housing is also a great opportunity to make lasting friendships and share new learning experiences. It is mandatory for all students to stay on campus for all four years. As a resident student, you can choose from traditional residence halls or on-campus apartment options, such as Gaass Hall, Graham Hall, Hoffman Hall, Pietenpol Hall, Scholte Hall, Language Houses, McKee Hall (a.k.a. Central College claims to offer 99% of international students some sort of scholarship to help them with their studies. The scholarships range from USD 1,000 to USD 8,000 and can be renewed every year for a maximum of four years. International applicants are automatically considered for these scholarships (except the Ambassador Scholarship) so o separate application is required. All scholarships are merit-based.

Their online application makes it simple to apply to Central College. They do not demand standardized test scores because they feel that students are everything but standard. Your application fee and essay are completely waived.

Central College has a 79% acceptance rate. Half of the Central College applicants who submitted test scores have a SAT score between 1040 and 1218 or an ACT score between 19 and 26. However, one-fourth of approved applicants received scores that were higher than these ranges, while the other quarter received scores that were lower.
