The Central University of Jharkhand BTech admission process starts with an eligibility check. Candidates who wish to apply for a preferred BTech course are advised to first ensure that they fulfil the eligibility requirements set by the university. As per the criteria, students who have passed Class 12 with at least 75% marks or are in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 conducted by the respective boards. For SC/ST students, the qualifying marks are 65%.

Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ Ranchi), accepts students for its B.Ed course on the basis of valid score in the CUET PG exam. The minimum eligibility requirement at Central University of Jharkhand for B.Tech isas follows:

Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry subjects with minimum 45% marks or equivalent grade for General Category and 40% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) /PWD.
