CG PET Pattern

CG PET 2023 was held as a pen-and-paper-based test. Candidates had to answer multiple-choice questions of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. As per the official CG PET 2023 exam pattern, the candidates had to attempt 50 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics within 3 hours. All questions were multiple-choice in nature. Each question was of 1 mark and there was no negative marking.

CG PET 2023 official marking scheme has been released online. As per the official CG PET 2023 exam pattern, the candidates will be allotted 1 mark for every correct answers. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. For every unattempted question, no marks will be deducted. Since there is no negative marking, the candidates are advised to attempt as many questions as they can within the alloted duration.

CG PET 2023 question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). All questions will have four options out of which the candidates will have to choose the correct one. The questions will be prepared from the syllabus of CG PET 2023 that will consist of unit and topics from Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. The details regarding the nature of questions has been released online through the CG PET 2023 exam pattern.

As per the official CG PET 2023 exam pattern, the entrance examination will be of 3 hours in duration. During the 3 hours, the candidates will have to attempt and answers 150 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. No extra time will be provided to the candidates. If the candidates are unable to complete the examination before the allotted time, then only their marked answers will be taken into consideration. Therefore, the candidates are advise to practice time management so that they are able to complete the examination in the allotted duration.

CG PET 2023 will be held as a pen-and-paper-based test at various centres for all registered candidates. Candidates are advise to be familiar with the official exam pattern as it will allow them to understand how the examination will be conducted and be more prepared.
