According to the CG PET pattern, the students will be awarded 1 mark for every correct answer in their response sheet. For the incorrect answers, there will be no negative marking. Since there is negative marking, the students are advised to attempt as many questions as possible.

No marks are deducted for incorrect answers in CG PET. If the students have marked an incorrect answer, the authorities will not mark it negatively. Since there is no negative marking, the students are advised to attempt as many questions as they can to have higher chances of scoring well.

The total duration of the CG PET exam is 3 hours. During the three hour exam, the students have to attempt 150 multiple-choice questions. No extra time will be given to the students to complete the exam. Therefore, they are advised to practice their time management skills.

The difficulty level of CG PET is estimated to be between moderate and difficult. The exam will not be as difficult as JEE Main, but will still assess the aptitude and knowledge of the students in the involved subjects. Since it is a state-level entrance exam, the students should be well prepared.

CG PET is held in both English and Hindi. The questions in the exam paper will be available in both languages. Students can choose their preferred language to read the questions and accordingly answer the questions. In case of any issues, they can ask for help from the exam invigilators.

Since CG PET is the biggest engineering entrance examination of the state, there are many applicants every year who wish to qualify the examination and pursue admissions into the engineering courses. The difficulty level of CG PET will be similar to the 12th standard qualifying examination, as the syllabus will be similar. Candidates will be assessed on their knowledge of topics from Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

Yes. The candidates will be able to attempt CG PET in Hindi or English. The paper will be available in both mediums for the candidates at the examination centre. However, no other language will be available for CG PET. If the candidates face any problems related to the language medium, then they can ask for help from the invigilators at the exam centre. CG PET will be held as a pen-and-paper-based test and the candidates will have to answer objective multiple-choice questions.
