CBIT Hyderabad even carries the reputation of not assuring 100% placements, whilst claiming almost 85-90 percent of eligible students to be, on an average held place every year.

For B.Tech, premier branches like CSE and ECE almost guarantee 100 percent placement by top-hitting companies such as Microsoft or TCS, with packages running to about INR 20 lakh. Other streams, like Chemical Engineering, show an average placement percentage of 70-80, with pay packages of INR 4-7 lakh. It is worthy of mention that placements depend on skills, academics, and market demand. .

The Hyderabad CBIT is offering scholarship programs for undergraduate courses Bachelors of Engineering (B.Tech) among others. The merit-based scholarship is a fee waiver for only a few students who achieved a top rank (For example: under 5000) in TS EAMCET - it provides up to 50% tuition waiver.

Under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) scholarships for students, it is a reality under the Telangana government policies for students with a maximum of INR 5 Lacs family income, which needs proof of income for their applicants. In case of SC/ST/OBC, the candidates are also eligible to apply for state-sponsored scholarships whereby th

The B.Tech programme at CBIT Hyderabad has a fee structure of around INR 1.4 Lacs a year, in all, around INR 5.6 Lacs for four years under the government quota. Additional costs such as hostel fees (60,000-80,000 per year), mess charges, and exam fees may very well inflate this rough number to INR 8-9 lakh.

These Management quota seats trickle at least between INR 3 Lacs and 4 Lacs a year, hence around INR 12-16 Lacs in total for the course, depending on the type of branch and demand. If Computer Science is in demand, then it, too, will take a chunk out of the fees. The fee structure itself goes on to show why CBIT is a deemed private i

For a solid MBA program, CBIT Hyderabad cannot be compared with VBLT since VBIT is much more mainstream with respect to tech and management integration.

With the good name of CBIT, the MBA students have the pick of some major recruiters, such as Deloitte and TCS, and package offerings that go at an average of INR 5 lakh-7 lakh. The placement record should be comparable, but VBIT offers an industry-relevant curriculum, albeit through less renowned outlets than CBIT.

Since CBIT has had a name for general-civil engineering and infrastructure, obviously, here, it is at front, but where VBIT is really coming into its own is

Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, or CBIT, ranks among the very best engineering colleges in India. The institution, on account of its excellence in academics as well as placements, has secured the 151-200 ranks in engineering in the NIRF 2023 rankings.

Within the private institutes of Telangana, CBIT usually finds a place in the top 5, mainly due to its 40 + years of goodwill, NAAC accreditation at A+, and consistent performance. It ranks well among regional institutes but pales in comparison with IITs and NITs. The positioning thus obtained is due to infrastructure, faculty, and industry links. Hence it becomes the first cho

For CBIT Hyderabad's M.Tech programs (not the MCA) in 2024, the GATE cutoff differs from stream to stream. Computer Science had 350-400 marks (out of 1000) while Mechanical and Civil Engineering had cutoffs of 300-350.

Higher score requirements were for candidates in the General category with decreases of 10-15% for OBC/SC/ST cutoffs. All these cutoffs are for CCMT counseling for government quota seats. For management quota admissions, specific cutoffs of GATE may not be strictly applied; however, a valid GATE score may be required.

Actual cut-offs vary every year depending on the number of applicants and the demand per branch, with 2024

The MCA admission process of CBIT Hyderabad gives prime importance to the TS ICET, which is conducted by Kakatiya University under TSCHE for assessing analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.

Other central examinations like NIMCET are not explicitly specified for the MCA programme at CBIT, but equivalent state-level examinations might be considered for admission on management quota seats at the discretion of the institute. Candidates must obtain marks equal to the prescribed cutoff (generally 25-40% of the total scores) and must ever be present in TS ICET counseling for regular quota admission.

The management quota forms the basis for direct admission to the MCA programme of CBIT Hyderabad, which usually comprises 30% of the total seats. The basic requirement is that the candidate should hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks, including mathematics at either 10+2 or degree levels.

This bypasses all entrance exam requirements like TS ICET, but the fees involved would be much higher and a donation is usually accepted anywhere from INR 2-5 Lacs during these highly demanding periods. Inquiries will need to be made directly with the college administration, where academic documents should be submitted, and an immediate
