Hi,
Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is mandatory for the following:
Students who have qualified Higher Secondary examination. Candidates who possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline. Candidates who hold a master's degree in any discipline.
Candidates who possess any professional qualification.
So, as you can see, Common Proficiency Test is mandatory for every individual willing to pursue Chartered Accountancy course and will remain so unless the proposal is approved by the union government. Yes, there is no requirement of percentage, so you can apply for CPT exam.

If you score then 55% in your commerce graduation, you can directly go to Inter CA. If you have done other than commerce graduation, then min 60% is required. Thanks.

You can apply direct entry route, that means you are not required to register for CA foundation, you can directly Apply for CA intermediate examination if you score more than 55% in B.Com.
