As per NIT Surathkal cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering has increased compared to the previous year. The Last Round closing rank for General AI category students for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was 2302, while for the General Home State category students, the Last Round closing rank was 3751. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 25494 and closing rank was 43498. Cut offs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 25048 and 59818. Admission to BTech +M.Techin Chemical Engineering at NIT Rourkela - National Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exams like JEE. Applicants are advised to first confirm the category in which they are applying and then check the cut-offs.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for BTech in Chemical Engineering at IIT Kanpur other than General category are - 2034 for OBC, 1281 for SC, 678 for ST, 762 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

For 2024, cut off was 39188 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech at Chemical Engineering in NIT Hamirpur - National Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota 52245 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State.
