Candidates can apply for B.Tech programs through JEE Mains. However, candidates must note that very few seats are available through JEE Main scores. While filling the SNUCEE 2026 application form, applicant must enter their JEE Mains Percentile Score in the field provided in the “Academic Details” Section. Candidates are required to score minimu of 90 percentile in JEE Main Exam to appear for direct interview process.

The University has not released the 2023 placement statistics yet. However, the NIRF report 2023 is released. As per the report, 1,130 UG students were placed during Dr MGR University placements 2022. The median package offered to UG (4-year) students was INR 9 LPA.

Candidates are first required to fill out the TNEA application form. Candidates are selected for TNEA Counselling based on their Class 12 merit. Candidates must complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects.
Once the selection and registration is done, the candidates whose names appear in the TNEA rank list participate in TNEA counselling rounds.
