Candidates can apply for B.Tech programs through JEE Mains. However, candidates must note that very few seats are available through JEE Main scores. Candidates are required to score minimu of 90 percentile in JEE Main Exam to appear for direct interview process.

The University has not released the 2023 placement statistics yet. However, the NIRF report 2023 is released. As per the report,  1,130 UG students were placed during Dr MGR University placements 2022. The median package offered to UG (4-year) students was INR 9 LPA.
