Food is something which is a common issue in initial days, irrespective of the fact whether you are from North or South, but after a month you will get used to it and start liking it.

Breakfast - Idli, Dosa, Pongal, Upma, Milk, Tea, Pasta, and jam bread.

Lunch - sambar (which is so watery), with rice, and chapati and some gravy or side dishes for that. On Sundays, it's always Briyani

Dinner - Tomato rice/lemon rice, chapati, and some gravy having soya bean/tomato/potato and other vegetables. Once in a week you can expect to get maggie in dinner.
