Candidates are first required to fill out the TNEA application form. Candidates are selected for TNEA Counselling based on their Class 12 merit. Candidates must complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects.
Once the selection and registration is done, the candidates whose names appear in the TNEA rank list participate in TNEA counselling rounds. After normalising marks scored by candidates (across all boards), the final merit list followed by the TNEA rank list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the relevant subjects, namely, Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
