During counselling/admission at Chitkara University, Chandigarh, all the candidates are required to bring the original and attested copies of the following documents:
- Certificate and mark sheets of Class 10 and 12
- Certificate and mark sheets of graduation (only for post-graduate programmes).
- Migration certificate from the board/university last attended.
- Rank card of qualifying examinations. If the result is not declared, then attach the admit card wherever applicable.
- Character certificate as per the format given on the Web site.
- Medical fitness certificate as per the format given on the Web site.

Yes, you could potenially take admission at Chitkara University on the basis of an entrance test alone; however, that would depend entirely on which course you chosen. Admissions at the University are done on both entrance and merit basis, for eg., for the BTech course, candidates have to appear for the JEE Main or the CUET, and for the BA LLB, students are admitted on the basis of merit.
