According to me, the first year students must focus only on the Frontend development like html, css and javascript and some programming in c+ apart from the theory subjects and if you're pretty good in some co-curricular activities then do participate in it as through it you can enhance your skill and also you get to interact with your Seniors and the Faculty coordinators.

No, there isn't any seat reservation in this campus but you won't face any difficulty in the admission part if atleast you're an average student.

Chitkara University offers various scholarships for eligible candidates. The scholarships offered by Chitkara University are Post-matric Scholarship Scheme for SCs/OBCs Students, Scholarship Scheme for Minorities Students, Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for College and University Students, AICTE Scholarship for J & K students, and others. Chitkara University offers four-year B.Tech courses to students in various specialisations. During 2021 placements, 779 students out of 990 got placed. 122 students were selected for higher studies. The median package offered was INR 7.50 LPA.
