The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC CHSL Tier 1 application form on June 23, 2025. The Commission released the SSC CHSL 2025 notification on the same date. The last date to apply online for the SSC CHSL 2025 was July 18, 2025. The Commission will conduct the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam 2025 from September 8 to 18, 2025.

The SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam will be conducted in February-March 2025. The Staff Selection Commmission will conduct the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier 2 Exam 2025 at the designated exam centres. The candidates will get the information regarding the exam through their admit card only after the declaration of the Tier 1 results.

SSC CHSL exam holds a total weightage of 200 marks, equally bifurcated in 4 sections i.e., English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, and General Awareness. Implying, each of these sections amount of 50 marks with a total of 25 questions. Candidates need to score minimum 33% of marks to qualify the exam. Thus, it signifies that candidates need to score minimum 66 marks in order to pass the exam. Therefore, unfortunately with 55 marks you haven't passed the SSC CHSL exam.

Yes, the Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CHSL Tier 1 result 2024 on September 9, 2024. The Commission selected 41,465 candidates for the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam 2024. The Commission will release the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam dates soon on its official website - ssc.gov.in.
The Commission also released the SSC CHSL Tier 1 cutoff 2024 with the result.

No, the Staff Selection Commission has not revised the SSC CHSL exam dates 2025. The Commission released the exam schedule for the SSC CHSL 2025 Tier 1 exam in the official notification. The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam will be conducted from September 8 to 18, 2025.

The SSC CHSL exam consists of two tiers: Tier 1 and Tier 2. Tier 1 (Computer Based Online Test):

- Total Marks: 200 Marks
- Duration: 60 Minutes (Extended to 80 minutes for PwD candidates)

To be eligible, for the SSC CHSL exam, candidates must have passed class 12 from a recognised board in any stream (Science/ Arts/ Commerce). The age of the candidate must be between 18 to 27 years.
Hence, to answer your question, no, a computer certificate is not necessary for the CHSL exam. However, candidates must upload the following list of documents while filling out the application form:
- Aadhar card
- Voter ID
- PAN card
- Passport
- College/ School ID
