No, the SSC does not send CHSL admit card by post to any candidate. Candidates only have the option of downloading the SSC CHSL admit card from the official website. In case, any candidate is not able to download his/her admit card one week before the exam, s/he must immediately contact the concerned regional/sub-regional office of SSC with the proof of having submitted his/her application.

In Tier 1 of the SSC CHSL exam, a total of 100 questions are asked. As per the official notification, the SSC CHSL Tier 1 is divided into four sections- English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. Each section contains 25 MCQs of 2 marks each. Therefore, each section is of 50 marks.

SSC CHSL Tier 1 contains objective-type multiple choice questions (MCQs). On the other hand, SSC CHSL Tier 2 is objective type as well, except for Module-II of Section-3, which is a Typing or Skill Test. The questions are set in English, Hindi and language opted by candidates, except for Module-II (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section II of Tier 2 examination.

Candidates who do not qualify the SSC CHSL exam get to know their marks after the result declaration. The Commission releases the SSC CHSL marks into the registered accounts of candidates. The marks are released for qualified and non-qualified candidates.

The CHSL scores or marks are released a few days after the result declaration. The SSC CHSL marks are displayed through the login link. Candidates come to know the individual scores in each section through the score card.

The official notification mentions all the eligibility conditions for the SSC CHSL exam. The SSC CHSL eligibility criteria that candidates need to fulfil are: A candidate must be either a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/ Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, a person of Indian origin. Candidates who are between the age group of 18 to 27 years can apply for the exam. The education qualification required for registering for the SSC CHSL exam is class 12th passed.
