No, the SSC does not send CHSL admit card by post to any candidate. Candidates only have the option of downloading the SSC CHSL admit card from the official website. In case, any candidate is not able to download his/her admit card one week before the exam, s/he must immediately contact the concerned regional/sub-regional office of SSC with the proof of having submitted his/her application.

The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam has 100 questions. The questions are asked from English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. Each section contains 25 questions of 2 marks each.

SSC CHSL Tier 1 contains objective-type multiple choice questions (MCQs). On the other hand, SSC CHSL Tier 2 is objective type as well, except for Module-II of Section-3, which is a Typing or Skill Test. The questions are set in English, Hindi and language opted by candidates, except for Module-II (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section II of Tier 2 examination.

The SSC CHSL exam eligibility that candidates need to fulfil is shared below-

• Candidate must be either a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/ Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, a person of Indian origin.
• The age limit is 18 to 27 years.
• Candidates should be Class 12 pass.

The SSC CHSL exam is being held from November 12 to 30, 2025, online across the nation. Candidates need to appear for the exam as per the schedule mentioned on their SSC CHSL admit cards.
