Students of class 12th in PCM group are not normally qualified for B.Sc Nursing. Generally the admission requirements to enroll for B.Sc Nursing are candidates are expected to have passed the 10+2 with PCB –Physics, Chemistry, and Biology – with an average of between 45% to 50%. Some institutions may also require students to have passed in English individually for example in exams or tests. You can easily get admission to BTech in Fire Engineering after passing Class 12 in the Science background with PCM subjects and having secured at least 50 to 60 percent aggregate marks. Several colleges and universities also offer admission on the basis of marks obtained in Class 12; however, other popular institutes consider the performance in entrance exams like JEE Main, CUET, KEAM, MHT CET, etc. So, you need to work extra hard in order to get into those reputed academic institutions.

You cannot pursue BTech in CSE at IITs with PCB stream in Class 12 as the eligibility criteria mentioned by the Indian Institutes of Technology ask for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects in Class 12. Mathematics is considered to be a crucial subject for the student to enter the field of Computer Engineering. Also, you must secure a minimum of 75% aggregate marks and clear the entrance exam with a really good rank to be able to get into any of the IIT branches.

Yes, you can pursue BSW if you have completed your class 12th with the Science stream, you are eligible for the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) programme. Students who have completed their 12th from a recognised board with atleast 45% aggregate marks, can pursue BSW courses. Students are admitted to colleges on merit basis and on the basis of their score in entrance exams.
