In my opinion there is no difference. its only a marketing terminology. Sometimes in order to justify the fees that the institutes charge, they divide their own course as basic and advance course. while considering admission you have to look at the following points
1. Faculty
2. syllabus
3.Library facility
4. placement record and
5. Practical training
ALL THE BEST!

I suggest you complete a course in clinical operations You can later on start working as CRC in hospital site. Getting in to pv or CDM will have your age as a limiting factor.

you being a doctor you will have wide options.if you like a job that calls for lot of activities and variety of functions. Opt for clinical operations. this is a hospital based job or you could work with a CRO or pharma sponsor. If you like a job in IT company, you should learn CDM or Pharmacovigilance. There are a lot of openings in PV. but the work if quite stereotype. Ofcourse the salary is good and jobs are stable.

Dear Amulya,
The scope for Clinical research is good, suggest you take a Masters which offers you this option, with research you will get extra preference for both Visa and stay back.
