CMAT city intimation refers to the notification sent by the NTA regarding the allotment of test ciy to candidates for CMAT exam. The CMAT city intimation slip is released two-three days before the release of admit card. It contains the name of city in which the CMAT test taker has been alloted the test centre. It does not contain test centre address or exam timings.
The CMAT city intimation slip is released in order to allow candidates from far off locations, some time to make arrangements for appearing in the exam without any hassle. By having test city information a week before the exam day they can make travel arrangement, etc.

CMAT city intimation slip is available for download for 2-3 days only. Once the CMAT admit card is released, the city intimation slip is not required as the hall ticket carries complete details of test centre. However, registered candidates must download the city intimation slip once it is released to know the test city and make arrangements for exam day before hand. City intimation is very useful specifically for students from rural and far off areas, who have to come to cities to appear for entrance exams.

The CMAT admit card will be available for download until the exam day. They link for downloading it will be removed after the exam is over. It is advised that candidates download their CMAT admit cards as soon as it is released so that they have ample time to check their test centre location. Candidates living in locations where they have to travel far to reach the CMAT centre must specifically download their admit cards in advance and visit the test centre once to check the location and distance so that they don't get late on the exam day.
