There is no centralised process of counselling on national level for CMAT Entrance Examination.

CMAT is a national level entrance examination for students wanting to pursue Management Programs. The conducting body for the examination is National Testing Agency ( NTA).

After the examination, NTA no longer participates in the counselling process, counselling is in hands of the respective educational institutes who offer Masters programs to the students.

After CMAT result has been declared, colleges accepting the exam score for MBA/PGDM admission will start the selection process. CMAT qualifying students will be required to fill the application forms of their target MBA colleges for admission. Colleges will select students on the basis of CMAT cut offs, and then will conduct GD/PI round for final selection.

For admission to MBA/PGDM courses through CMAT score, candidates are required to present the relevant documents that confirm their identity, nationality and academic achievement. Given below is the list of documents that are required to be presented at the time of GD/PI and admission:
1. CMAT scorecard
2. CMAT admit card
3. Photo ID
4. Address proof
5. Birth certificate
6. Graduation degree
7. Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
If a candidate is seeking admission in a particular category, then they have to submit a valid Certificate for the category such as:
1. Caste Certificate
2. PWD certificate

For top colleges, you have score between 96-99 percentile
and if you are a female then you have to score atleast 96-97 percentile for top colleges.

You can apply for ITM-Mumbai, Balaji Institutes-Pune, XIME-Bangalore, XIMR-Mumbai, BIMTECH-Noida, Flame University-Pune and MIT-Pune. Also, you need to score more than 90 percentile to get a call from a good college.
