Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level computer-based management entrance test. The test comprises of questions related to quantitative techniques and data interpretation, logical reasoning, language comprehension and general awareness. You need to focus on these during your preparation. Besides books / study material (even newspapers) you need to have a small group of students who can ask each other questions and help prepare each other. Appearing for mock tests also helps a lot.

You can opt for either Bull's Eye or TIME. Both the institutes are good for the preparation of CAT exam.

Marketing is the most sought after specialisation in MBA by students and recruiters. Most of senior leadership of business firms are from Sales & Marketing background. It will be a good career option for you.
