The cutoff information for M.Tech in VLSI and embedded systems varies significantly between institutions, generally GATE score is a major factor with specific cut off depending on the college and category, for example at IIT Delhi cut off for difference specialisation range widely with microelectronics and VLSI design having a higher cut off than some other specialisation.

COEP Pune offers a wide variety of courses such as M.Tech/ME, and B.Tech. The institute offers 55 courses in different streams including UG Diploma, Certificate, CCNA, MCSE, and M.E./M.Tech. Admission to all the courses is entrance-based followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Sorry to say, but you haven't cleared the JEE Mains required cut-off. So there is no way to get admission in College of Engineering Pune.

I can understand your angst and the anxiety. But unfortunately, the information that you are seeking is just not available on the internet. At least I could not find it anywhere. But generically speaking, admissions in COEP close at very high levels. If you have scored more than 75% in your diploma exam, then you have a chance of getting admission in this institution.

Firstly, in most cases let me tell you what is difference in BE and B.Tech. Universities those offer other degrees along with engineering named their engineering degree as BE (Bachelor of Engineering) and Institute constituted for only Engineering studies named their degree as B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology). This may not be true for all cases, but most. Education-wise there is hardly any difference. Now coming to the selection of branch, you need to discover your interests first irrespective of the scope and job opportunities for a particular branch.
