Aspirants must complete Bachelor's degree in relevant field of Engineering and Technology with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for Backward Class categories, Economically weaker section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) can apply for MTech at COEP Pune.

To get lateral entry into B.Tech CSE at COEP Tech in 2025, you must have completed a Diploma in engineering with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) and studied Maths. Admission is done through Maharashtra's CAP counselling based on Diploma marks. Only 10% of total seats are for lateral entry, so aim for a strong Diploma score.

The eligibility depends on which particular course the candidate is applying for. For UG admissions, candidate must have a qualifying score in Class 12 and for PG courses, graduation is considered. Also, for BTech and M.Tech admissions, a qualifying score in JEE Main and GATE is required, respectively. Aspirants must pass Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Information Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Electronics/ Entrepreneurship with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved categories, EWS and PwD candidates belonging to Maharashtra) to apply for BTech at COEP Pune.

Academic credentials:

Passed through 12th standard or comparable assessment with Physical science, and Arithmetic as necessary subjects. Obtained a minimum of 45 percent (40 percent for the SC/ST/PWD category) in each of the aforementioned subjects.

Entrance exams:

Maharashtra Normal Entry Test (MHT CET): Expected for 80% of the seats.
JEE Primary: Expected for 20% of the seats (no base percentile required, yet a higher percentile expands your possibilities).

Candidates must pass a bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for backward class, EWS and PwD category candidates from Maharashtra state) to apply for MBA programme at COEP Technological University. Aspirants must also have MAH MBA CET or any other accepted entrance exam scores.

As per their cut-off list from previous years results there are less possiblities for you to get admission in computer Science at COEP Pune.
