colleges accepting CLAT

Out of the 23 NLUs (National Law Universities) in India, 22 participate in Common Law Admission Test. NLU, Delhi is the only NLU that doesn't participate in it and accepts AILET scores. Many top private law colleges also accept CLAT scores for student intake. So, I guess it would be safe to say that the best law colleges in India admit students into their UG and PG programs based on Common Law Admission Test scores. If you want to get into the corporate law sector, the NLUs will be appropriate, as most of their students are recruited on campus by private companies. On the other hand, if you just want to be a lawyer, you can get into any law college and take the BCI (Bar Council of India) exam. However, I don't mean to say that the law colleges outside the Common Law Admission Test are not good enough. There are other exams that you can take to get admitted to good law colleges, like the AILET ISAT, MH-CET (a state-level law entrance exam), etc. And if you want to seek admission to private law colleges outside of the Common Law Admission Test, you can do that too. Only you will notice that the tuition at these colleges is on the higher side. I hope this will help you.
