Hi, there are about 10+ top universities and colleges in India that accept CUET scores. Of these, 7 colleges are owned by the government and 5 colleges are privately owned. CUET is a national-level exam and is usually accepted by the top universities in India. Some of the top colleges under CUET include JMI, BHU, Delhi University, University of Hyderabad, LPU, Amity University Noida, Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Manipal University Jaipur, and many others.

CUET UG scores are the accepted by central, state, private, deemed and government institutions. Refer below to know the number of universities accepting CUET UG scores in each category:

CUET UG scores are not accepted by IITs. Common University Entrance Test for UG is conducted for admission to state, central, private, deemed and government institutions. Admission to UG courses of IITs is offered through other national level entrance examinations.

More than 250 universities are accepting CUET scores for admission to 2026-27 academic year. Candidates can now check the university-wise UG courses and eligibility criteria.

CUET registration for admission to colleges begins after the declaration of CUET results. Candidates seeking admission to CUET accepting college must ensure to register for CUET UG exam and appear for the exam on given date and time. CUET results are usually declared a month after the exam is over. Yes, candidates for the BCom programme at the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College programme are shortlisted through a CUET entrance test. The National Testing Agency conducts the Common University Entrance Test. Admission into Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College for an undergraduate programme is based on CUET conducted by NTA. Those who have passed Class 12 or its equivalent from a recognised board with a valid score in the entrance examination can secure admission at DDU College for a BCom course. The minimum eligibility criteria must be met by students before getting admitted to the institute.

Out of which, 150+ colleges are privately owned, 50+ colleges are owned by public/government organizations, and public-private organizations own only 1 college.
