Yes, you can get a government college through UPSEE with a score of 260 in UPSEE. Unfortunately, you can't compete yourself in that race. I would recommend you to either drop this year, and try with better knowledge next time, if you really want to be in a government college, else Ill recommend you to just take admission in a private university, not private college of AKTU.

Hi,
There are more than 150 colleges under UPSEE. I can't give you details of every college but the fees in round figure for private colleges is around 1.2 lacs +60k hostel charges and in government colleges, the fees will be around 50k and the hostel fees will be under 1k. Kindly follow the following colleges:
1- Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Tech., Jhansi
2- Uttar Pradesh Textile Technology Institute, Kanpur, Faculty of Architecture (LCA)
3- Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow

I don't want to demoralize you, but if you want a government college with this score, it seems to be impossible, but yes if you want a private college then on the basis of these marks, you can get a college of your choice.

Every year, there is some cutoff for every category which have to be score by the student. Cut-off change every year. It is not fixed since it depend upon the highest marks score, total number of candidate appeared etc. For a general category, the cutoff is higher than another. In my opinion, one as a general category must score 200+ for getting admission to college.
