Devoting one full year for entrance exam preparation has its own merits and demerits. Dropping a year means that you will get sufficient amount of time to prepare for entrance exams. ICFAI University Group consists of a Deemed University declared by the Ministry of HRD u/s 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 and State Universities incorporated and established by State Governments and are governed by their respective Acts/Statutes and Rules made there under.

Never expect any spoon feeding but still faculty are cooperative in clearing your doubts. Each session is braining storming. Class room involvement is absolute necessity. If you day dream your are gone. Also you need to be very careful when it comes to attendance, poor attendance would badly impact grades as it would mean that student is not interested in academics. Even on presence of one student faculty would take classes. IBS Ahmedabad has 100% placement record

Hi Pritam! Since IIFM is a sectoral institute and one of its kind, therefore, you should give a genuine and proper reason in your SOP for choosing this institute. Avoid focusing on any subject about which you don't have proper knowledge, as there lies a probability of questions being asked based on those subjects. All the best.
