No, Kalapurnam Institute admits students based on merit. The college offers certificate courses for in various specialisations such as Web Design, Interior Design, Digital Marketing etc. Candidate must meet the eligibility criteria to enrol for certificate course admission set by the college. Candidates who have not completed Class 12 are not eligible for admission.

To get into Kalapurnam Institute for a UG Diploma course, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. Kalapurnam Institute offers full-time UG Diploma courses of two years' duration. Students can get into this course based on merit. CAT is also accepted as an entrance test through which one may enter into PGDM at Lucknow by Jaipuria Institute of Management, but CAT entrance test scores are not a prerequisite to apply for it. It has also accepted entrance tests conducted at CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT examinations scores of which can also be accepted for admission by candidates not qualified through CAT.
