Within the GATE complex, there is a Boy's Hostel, a Girl's Hostel, and an adjacent Mess facility. There are 208 rooms available in the hostel, which can house up to 292 students. There are amenities like a doctor on call, a car for any medical emergency, a dining facility that accommodates the cultural variety of India, and a common area with utilitarian and recreational equipment in addition to the residential quarters and GATE site. Wide, lush grounds surrounded the school to provide a better setting for students' personal growth.

Many cultural events are held in the college. But the fun fact is that the students won't be knowing the details of the events. Sports day is conducted but events only takes place after the class hours. Many students find this difficult as they won't be allowed to practice or may not be possible for the students to stay back after the class hours as they may be coming from long distance. There is no coordinator in the arrangement of functions and the events are held for just the name sake only and the college doesn't give much importance to events or programs.

Food provided in the college mess is not worth our money. The taste is not that good and the quantity of food for that amount of money for each items is also less. But with a short interval period students will be forced to opt the college mess.

There are specific amount of credit to each course or subject. The number of credit indicates how important the course is to the programme. The students should give importance to the subjects on the basis of credit and score according. Lab subjects are of great help to score more credit than theory papers.

Failing in internal exams won't have adverse effect on the students. Attending the internals is enough as far as I know. The staff will allow students to appear for the semester exam by giving the required marks necessary for passing the internals. There would be a total of 3 internals and a model exam. So you should only have to pass in any other case.

In VISTAS certain dress code should be maintained. But this also varies from department to department. Some department students are to be present in uniform. Even for those other departments stylish dresses are not allowed. For male students, shirts and paints are the formal dress code allowed in the campus. T-shirts are not allowed.

The college is very strict and we won't be able to enjoy the campus life here. The Gates are even close after a certain time andwon'allow anyone to enter even for students whose has urgent cases. The lectures are not good too. The faculty members will force everyone to be in the class short after the intervl but the won't show that much interest in finishing their topics. If you can study by yourself you can join. But at the time of admission they will provide many false information regarding the campus and the teaching methods. mY experience regarding the college life was extremely bad. My 2 years of college life was a total waste.

The college provides facility for hostel for both male and female students. But the quality of food provided by the hostel is not worth your money that is being given so many of the students prefer to live outside the college hostels. The timings of outing allowed by the hostel is also bad. Many PGs are available surrounding the hostel. We can search for rooms which are being given for rent where you could do cooking also. Other hostels are also available around. If I were to suggest, it's better to take a room for rent as you can enjoy the college life and have better food. This gives a benefit as we won't be needed to be present exac
