Hi,
Product Design as a design field involves designing or creating products that will be used by consumers. Product Design is related to all the work that is done between an idea coming to mind and finally seeing the product in the hands of the customer. It is not necessary that a product designer always designs new products. Designers can also take inspiration from existing products or can also redesign and update existing models like in mobile phones we see every year.

You should start 9 months before the exam, although this might vary from person to person. Consistency is the key. You must practice and learn each section daily from whenever you start till the date you appear for your CAT exam. Identify your weaker section and donate more time towards that particular section. On a minute level also focus on which topics you find difficult and take a call on how much time you want to spend on it depending on its weightage in the exam.

The admission in BBA+MBA course of Nirma University is done through the following ways:
1. All India category: 65% of total seats will be fill-up through IPMAT Entrance test conducted by IIM Indore.
2. Gujarat state category: Under this 20% of seats will be filled on the basis of 12th marks + Personal Interview. The minimum required marks at 12th level are 90% in first attempt.
So the IPMAT score above 200 can be good enough for this college.

IIM Ahmedabad has 2 stages for shortlisting students:
Stage 1 : Students are shortlisted for WAT and PI round on the basis of a composite score which contains weight-age from students CAT score, Academic records and academic diversity.
Stage 2 : A final merit list is prepared on the basis of a final merit score which has a weightage from various parameters like CAT score, academic rating and performance in GD and PI round.
