http://www.gujaratuniversity.ac.in fill the application form and register yourself. After doing the same you can go and submit your documents in the University and apply for the same.

Yes, GU would be preferred rather than other colleges as the fees would also be low and the faculties here are also very much experienced.

Some IIMs do have points for work experience, but there are freshers who enter every year based on their stellar record in academics and extra curricular activities.

You are at a slight disadvantage, but getting good grades in a non - engineering graduation course combined with a good cat percentile may get you a call from IIMA.
