ECE at NIT will be a better option than techno India salt lake CSE if you don't have an interest in CS or don't know anything about coding. NIT has better infrastructure, faculty, placement opportunity and also the environment.

It could be better as you will get some good facilities and more opportunities due to the fact that you are in a government college. If you are concerned with your studies then it could be better than the state colleges. You will definitely get problems regarding infrastructure. But then you have to choose according to your priorities.

No, there is no entrance exam for admission in the mentioned course. Admission is based on graduation percentage. Candidates who have studied B.Sc./ B.A.(Hons) in Mathematics/ B.Sc.(Hons) in any subject wit mathematics as elective subject / B.Sc. general with mathematics.
