B.E. / B.Tech the most sought after course at Pragati Engineering College because of its industry relevant curriculum, good placements, and modern labs. The highest package offered till now for BTech students is INR 45 LPA, and the average package is around INR 10 LPA. More than 80% of the students get placed every year. Some top recruiting companies include TCS, Amazon, and Capgemini. The faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable.

The AP EAMCET exam is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU Kakinada). It is conducted for all colleges in Andhra Pradesh, not only for the Pragati Engineering College. The results for admission in 2025 have already been declared on June 8, 2025.
