The quality of food in the hostel mess of MJR College of Engineering and Technology is considered to be somewhere between below average to average. Student reviews mention that the food served is good according to the students belonging to Andhra Pradesh state, but the students belonging to the Telanagan state sometimes don't like the taste. Students can go for tiffin system which provides a good quality food at around 4-5000 per month. They can also opt for canteen food availble in the college campus or food from stalls and hotels available near the campus.
