Merit-based admission is granted to BVCEC for undergraduate (B.E./B.Tech) and graduate (M.E./M.Tech, MBA, MCA) programs mostly through entrance tests. Candidates for B.Tech must have a valid Andhra Pradesh EAMCET or JEE Main score a 45% grade in 10+2 (PCM) and counseling. A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 50% of the possible points and a GATE or Andhra Pradesh PGECET score are prerequisites for M.Tech programs. A 50% grade in a Bachelor degree and an Andhra Pradesh ICET score are prerequisites for admission to an MBA or MCA programme Thirty percent of seats are distributed by management quota, and applications are accepted online at bvcec.edu.in.

The declaration of semester exam results at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology (SVPCET) is generally completed in another period of four to six weeks after having finished the exams in line with the schedule fixed by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.

Results are declared for odd semesters (held during November to December) sometime from late January to early February, while for the even semester, which is again from April to June, are by June to early July. 

This autonomous status granted to SVPCET since 2021 gives a bit of leeway in the procedural processing, yet the timeline remains the same. Results are lodged on the college student portal or the university site, both being accessible through login credentials. 

St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology (SVPCET) receives applications starting from eligibility confirmation like 45% in 10+2 for B.E./B.Tech. Students register for JEE Main or MHT CET, apply through the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra counseling portal, and choose SVPCET.

Applying online to SVPCET would require academic record, entrance exam marks along with documents like 10+2 marksheets, transfer certificates and identity proofs. To apply to the college for admission management quota, students have to go directly through the college website or admission office and submit the same documents as required. M.Tech and MBA programs require GATE or MAH-MBA-CET scores respectively. 

The programme has specific eligibility criteria and admissions procedures for applying to St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology (SVPCET). In the case of B.E./B.Tech course programs, candidates need to achieve 45% marks in 10+2 (40% for reserved categories), along with Physics, Mathematics, and one of the relevant subjects from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a technical subject.

They also need to have a valid score in JEE Main or MHT CET. Through DTE Maharashtra counseling, candidates can apply or directly for management quotas via the college's admission office. For M.Tech, the prerequisite is the first class B.Tech degree with a minimum of 50% marks and a qualifying score in GATE. 

Admission to B.E./B.Tech courses provided by St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology (SVPCET) is open for candidates with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in 10+2 Science with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a technical subject.

Admissions are made on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET). Registration for the entrance test, application through DTE portal, and choice of SVPCET is part of the admission process. Management quota seats often enable direct admission by contacting admission office, subject to eligibility and availability. At least 10+2 marksheets, entrance scores, and identity proof are required.
