Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (KLEF) was established in 1981 as KL College of Engineering. Yes, KL Unievrsity Hyderabad admissions are currently open. Candidates who fulfils the eligibility requirements can apply for the preferred course. Admission to all the courses is based on entrance exam scores. The university conducts KLEEE, KLMAT or written test to select candidates for admission. Besides, KL University also accepts national-level entrance exam such as JEE Main, CAT, MAT, etc. for admission to specific programmes.

Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation offers scholarships for its students to help them with their studies. The scholarships are offered in the form of fee waivers. The scholarships are merit-based.
